What is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of tattooing. Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a handheld tool instead of a machine, which allows the artist to create crisp, hair-like strokes to mimic natural hair in your brows.
What is the healing process like?
Microblading is a 2 step process. For a few days following your initial procedure, your brows will appear dark and bold. Your brows will then start to scab, flake and up to 40% of the pigment may be lost. Hair strokes will fade and soften. As your skin begins to heal, some pigment may reappear. The second procedure will correct any lost pigment.
How long does it last?
A few things factor in to how long microblading will last. Microblading typically lasts about 1-3 years, depending on how well you follow your after care and your skin type.
Includes the initial procedure and a mandatory follow up 4-6 weeks later.
